Draft 4.3: Ingrid’s notes

Ingrid lined the films up with the new Partnerships page, Stevan ruled on her notes, and the portal now uses her words. Four films, each under 16 MB and built for phones: the short cut for partner managers, a new social cut for partners, and the two full films. They were recorded on the demo network, and all of the data is made up.

Brightwater Advisory · 7 agency clients

What changed, point by point

Ingrid’s 28 points: 20 done, 4 done differently, 3 not done, 1 kept as is.

The partner film

  1. 1

0:04The WhatsApp message, its caption, the email template

The bubble carries your message, cloned live from the soft mention template, and the caption reads “Ready-made, and approved by us.” The rate line is gone from both templates, on WhatsApp and in email.

  2. 2

0:14“same share, same tracking, zero friction”

The Share page’s card says it now.

    #5722 wording

    Done
  3. 3

    0:18The calculator

“Their bank’s all-in cost” and “Estimated saving · illustrative” on the page, and the caption “Show them what they’re paying now.” The word “illustrative” is in shot whenever the figure is.

    #5722 wording

    Done
  4. 4

0:30“We flag anything stuck before it’s your problem.”

No such feature or process exists, so the film doesn’t promise one. “Watch every step. We handle onboarding.” stays.

    Not done
  5. 5

0:44, 0:52“Your share” headers; August trades only

The money column reads “Your share”. Statement lines are dated by completion now, under “Completed”, so the August statement runs from 3 to 26 August, every line in August.

    #5722 wording#5724 statement dates

    Done
  6. 6

0:48“Paid for as long as they trade.” on the rising months

“Earned on every trade they make.” lands as the months build, then gives way to “The next one’s already scheduled.” Stevan’s call: it says how the share works without promising how long, since a contract can end.

The manager film

  1. 7

0:12“Your share · 12 months”, and figures that match

The card reads “Your share · 12 months, £30,712, across your network”. It covers 12 months now, not 13: the sum of the dashboard chart’s 12 bars, the statements from Nov 2025 to Oct 2026, the same months the payouts list. The table below it is labelled “lifetime”, so Brightwater’s £9,878.92 reads as what it is, and the drill beat shows those headers large enough to read on a phone.

    #5722 wording#5723 12 months

    Done
  2. 8

    0:27“Their share” / “Your share”

Brightwater’s pipeline, in your view, shows both.

    #5722 wording

  3. 9

0:38Pairs a penny apart; “You keep” equal to the partners’ total

Stevan: “keep 15/15 for time being”. The demo split stays, so each pair stays a penny or two apart (your share is worked out per trade as the channel’s share minus the partner’s, each rounded). Nothing hides it; it’s on the known flaws list.

  4. 10

0:42“Partner breakdown”; “You keep · Your share + direct clients”

    Both, on the payouts page.

    #5722 wording

    Done
  5. 11

1:08Months under £100 roll over, yet the small months show as paid

Stevan’s call: a month under £100 reads “Rolled over” while it waits and “Paid” once it’s paid, so the small early months stamp PAID on the wall, as before.

    Kept as is
  6. 12

1:10Build the tiles oldest first, from the top left

In both long films the months land oldest first, in reading order, and the total speeds up as they grow. The last paid month lands beside the next payout.

The short manager film

  1. 13

    0:00The title

“Your partners make the introductions.” leads in, and “Full transparency. No more chasing.” is the headline.

    Done
  2. 14

    0:03“Every partner, one view.”

It would land a second before “See what every partner earns.”, a near-duplicate headline. Stevan’s rule is one headline per beat, used once.

    Not done
  3. 15

0:04-0:06“See what every partner earns.”, “Partners”, the headers

The line, the “Partners” title and the portal’s own headers, “Their share · lifetime” and “Your share · lifetime” (your “Partner’s share” is “Their share” in the portal), framed to read on a phone.

    #5722 wording

    Done
  4. 16

    0:12-0:18“One partner: Brightwater Advisory.” first

It lights Brightwater’s row, name and amount, with its own hold. Then “Same figures, both sides.” holds through the match. “Partner breakdown” and “You keep · Your share + direct clients” are on the page.

    #5722 wording

    Done
  5. 17

    0:18-0:24“What your partner sees.”

The view tag on Brightwater’s payouts, set larger so it reads on a phone.

    Done
  6. 18

    0:24“And what you see.”

The view tag on your own payouts.

    Done
  7. 19

0:30“Paid for as long as they trade.”

“Paid monthly, on every trade.”, for the same reason as point 6. The “Paid to date” label is larger too.

One set of words

  1. 20

“Better rates”, “sharper rates”, “median savings”, “all-in margin”

No rate claim is on screen in any film: the two templates and the calculator changed. (The demo account’s own saved invitation message on the Share page still says “sharper rates”. It’s demo data, so it stays out of frame.)

    #5722 wording

    Done
  2. 21

    “Override”, “channel commission”

    “Your share”, everywhere.

    #5722 wording

  3. 22

    “Sub-partners”

    “Partners”.

    #5722 wording

  4. 23

“Commission” in headers, and “same commission”

    “Your share” and “same share”.

    #5722 wording

  5. 24

“Commission earned”, “their commission”, “sub-partner breakdown”

“Your share”, “Their share”, “Partner breakdown”.

    #5722 wording

    Done
  6. 25

    “Ready-made”

“Ready-made, and approved by us.” (point 1).

    Done
  7. 26

    “Find out more · partnerships@”

The three films sent one to one close on “Get in touch · partnerships@currencytransfer.com”: an end card can’t be clicked, so they keep an address. The social cut’s end card says “Apply to partner · currencytransfer.com/partnerships”.

    Done differently
  8. 27

All of it, in labels and table headers too

Checked on every film: none of the old words is in frame at any hold, in the portal’s text or the films’ own, and a text-recognition pass over every half second of each finished film found none either.

    Done

The social cut

  1. 28

A 30-second cut, captions burned in, music only

Above, as “For partners, social cut”: 34 seconds, each beat as your table has it, with a small “Illustrative figures” tag on every frame and the full demo tag on the title and end cards. One line differs: the end card says “Earn on every trade they make.” rather than “Get paid every time they trade.”, Stevan’s softer wording (point 6). The silent loop is its second download.

Recorded on

The development copy of the portal: the demo-video branch with #5722 (wording), #5723 (12 months) and #5724 (statement dates). Every figure on screen, the crafted sequences included, was read from the live pages at recording time, from the demo data re-seeded on 3 October.

Known flaws

  • The manager film’s pairs are a penny or two apart (point 9).
  • After the spreadsheet turns into the live table, the table sits at full width for about a second and a half before the camera moves to the 12-month card. On a phone its headers are too small to read there; the drill beat is where they read.
  • The notifications beat in the manager film and the short is draft 4.2’s recording: the portal’s tray only shows the last 7 days, and its items have aged out. In the short its side-panel type is 1 px larger than the other beats’.
  • In the lit table rows, the portal’s own text is about 7 px tall on a phone (Northwind’s row); the captions repeat the figures in large type.
